At least they got their Opening Day win.
The A's picked up a win, 5-1, against the Sox, whose only run was scored by Manny's solo homerun.
Keith Foulke got the win. It's funny to think it was only 2 seasons ago, when he was the Sox closer, I saw a fan at Fenway turn his Foulke t-shirt inside out because he was such a disgrace on the mound. Apparently, things change.
Alan Embree, another former member of the Red Sox bullpen, made an appearance for the last inning of the game.
